Your role and responsibilities
Maven Veterinary Care is looking for an experienced surgeon to join our multiple award-winning team on a full-time basis.
We are an RCVS accredited practice with multiple certificate holders. We have achieved four outstanding practice standards awards and are very well respected in the local area. We are a friendly team that enjoys working to the highest standards for our busy caseload. Applicants will be at least 2 years qualified and have medical, imaging and surgical skills. There are no out-of-hours or bank holiday shifts as we have a dedicated provider onsite, meaning that patients can be readily hospitalised for intensive treatment. Appointments are 15 minutes long.
Shift pattern: (Full time: Monday-Friday, 2 days are a 4pm finish and 1 day a 3.30pm finish.

We are a 100% small animal Primary Care practice located in North Cheam, London. We are accredited with Practice Standards Hospital Accreditation and 4 Outstanding RCVS Awards and Gold Standard Cat-Friendly Clinic. We have modern outstanding facilities and an award-winning design. We thrive to exceed expectations by providing expert care for our clients and their pets as we dedicate our time to looking after them and keeping them healthy.
We have vibrant and caring teams who are passionate about their patients and careers. Currently, we have 16 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) with 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, and they are supported by 4 Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs) and 1 Kennel Assistant. Additionally, we have 9 vets, 6 of whom have post-graduate certificates and a dedicated Client Care team. Maven is supported with 24 hour provision from Vets Now, who are onsite to provide an after hours service.
