You should have understanding, interpretation and practice experience of working with families in the community particularly where child protection processes have been required. Knowledge of national and local polices in place to protect children is essential. A working knowledge of Getting It Right For Every Child, using a trauma informed approach and legislation relating to children and young people are essential.
