Responsibilities:
- Sales/Purchase ledger processing of invoices
- Weekly preparation of payment run
- Analysis and posting of Company Charge Card and Expenses
- Statement reconciliations
- Creditors/Debtors Control
- Daily bank postings
- Updating daily Cash flow
- Journal Processing
- Bank payments – Both Sterling and Foreign accounts
- Bank Reconciliation – Multiple accounts, including foreign accounts
- Vat return completion
- Prepayments and Accruals
- Fixed Assets Register
- Assisting Finance Manager with preparation of Management Accounts
- Various reporting
- Any other related duties as directed by Line Manager to ensure the efficient running of the business
Essential experience/ Skills:
- Qualifications: Part Qualified AAT/Qualified by experience
- Numerate and literate with the ability to maintain records legibly
- The ability to provide necessary and timely information for action in a faced pace environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organised and able to work on own initiative
- Prepared to work flexibly as part of a small team and to provide absence cover where necessary
- Sage 50 or equivalent
- Experience in google spreadsheet or equivalent
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach, initiative and enthusiasm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
