Join our high performing Valuations team, a market leader in providing valuation advice and opinions to clients including private equity, investment funds (including debt funds), asset managers, tech start-ups and global blue-chip corporates.
We will provide you with the opportunity to expand your career and further develop your experience as a commercial and technical adviser on critical value related matters, in particular relating to loan portfolios and debt investment funds.
Our Valuations team, which is part of Deloitte Advisory Corporate Finance, advises on high profile assignments that have significant impact on, or are of high importance to our clients.
Every year, we advise over 100 clients in all industries in both the private and public sectors including multinationals, governments, corporates, financial institutions, private equity, family owned businesses and entrepreneurs.
Clients seek our world-class valuation advice and independent valuations, typically in situations where there is, or could be, a material value impact, including:

M&A transactions and capital raising;

Strategic decisions, including joint ventures and strategic partnership agreements;

Fund / portfolio investments;
-
Disputes, arbitration and mediation;

Intra-group restructuring and tax valuations;

Financial reporting; and
-
Incentive schemes.
As part of our loan portfolio and debt investment fund valuations, we support Deloitte’s global Portfolio Valuation Services offering. Through this work, we undertake debt valuations for some of the largest global asset managers and financial institutions, advising clients on either standalone transactions or on a periodic basis. As part of our debt valuation work, the team values loan portfolios (corporate, residential mortgage, credit card), Real Estate and Debt Origination Platforms, stressed and distressed assets, intercompany trades and more.
Globally, Deloitte assesses valuations for 26% of the top 50 global asset managers and serves nearly 50% of the top 50 real estate companies by revenue.

Connect to your skills and professional experience
Your professional skills, experience and attributes should include:

Valuation experience gained either in an accounting / valuation firm, bank, private equity or similar institution;
-
Significant experience of performing complex analyses of debt instruments, convertibles, preference shares and (performing and non-performing) loan portfolios as well as interpreting and presenting conclusions in a concise and clear manner;

Experience in undertaking equity valuations; and
-
Exceptional financial analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
