In the Firm-wide Planning and Analysis (FWPA) technology team, we develop products that enable financial analysts to accurately prepare firm-wide financial data for a variety of uses, including managing the business, regulatory purposes, and preparing for a variety of economic scenarios.
As a member of the team, you'll be responsible primarily for developing and modernizing APIs and backend services. It's an exciting time to join the firm as there's a big push towards modernizing technologies. Your typical day at work should primarily be spent writing code, troubleshooting bugs, or improving our platforms and infrastructure.

Desired skills and experience:
- Working knowledge of key products in AWS
- Strong programming skills in any high level language (Python preferred)
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets, such as Git, JIRA, CI/CD software, and an IDE
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend architecture
- Working knowledge of SQL and understanding of databases and data modeling
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
- Passionate about building an innovative culture
- Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
- Knowledge of application security standards
