Assistant Site Manager

Job Description

• This is a unique opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to work on an NDA private luxury residential project. This will include 500 sq m of Portland stone on the external façade, with a 50-week programme. This will include heavy lifting machinery, railing systems and complex scaffolding in an exciting project, with all future work within the heritage and luxury residential sector in central London.
• This will be working for a specialist stone contractor who has their own quarry and factory, so mitigate any risks with delays in the supply chain. All their stonework is hand finished by experienced stone masons. They have guaranteed future work with larger main contractors in the London area.
• Responsibilities will include liaising with the main contractor, driving the project, checking drawings and installation, look aheads, ordering materials, method statements and H&S. A fixing supervisor will be on site and will be managing the 20 fixers on the project.
• Genuine career progression is on offer for this well-respected company, who won numerous awards at Christmas. Stonework façade or brickwork experience is essential for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £35,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
