Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Researching and sourcing new suppliers providing vegetable, fruit, and meets inside and outside the UK;
Finding the sources of materials and negotiating for the best and most cost-effective deals and contracts with suppliers;
Inspecting inventory and processing reordering the supplies and stocks to make sure that the stock would never run out;
Doing market research to keep the market trends and opportunities updated;
Conducting stock inspection for any missing and faulty items or any inconsistency withorders;
Maintaining the stock and inventory records;
Updating payments, credit and receivables records;
Liaising and coordinating with the sales team and stock teams to follow up on any delays of orders;
Actively attending networking events to build professional and industrial relationships;
Maintaining relationships with clients and big accounts to ensure that the clients are happywith the products and services of the company;
Liaising with the courier to check the delivery and track the order status, and any problems arising from the delivery.

Details of the skills, experience and qualifications required for the post:
- Have at least 1 year working as a sales and purchasing officer, or import and export officer;
- Have great communication skills, especially problem-solving skills;
- Can work under high pressure;
- Have excellent time management skills;
- Familiar working with Excel spreadsheets;
- Having experience working in the food industry is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
