This exciting opportunity is to cover the role of the Prevent Education Officer and will work with educational settings to identify vulnerabilities and risks, deliver training, build and maintain a network of contacts to improve coordination of Prevent activity. The successful applicant will work with schools to increase compliance with the Prevent duty, help shape local strategy and deliver interventions to strengthen resilience to all forms of extremism.

The post is initially offered on a contract until the end of March 2024, with possible extension to March 2025 and further depending on renewed funding being available. A secondment from the education sector may be considered.
