Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Administration Assistant to provide support to staff and clinicians within our outstanding private clinic in Worthing. Laser & Skin Clinics Ltd is a group of busy, well-regarded private dermatology practices in the heart of Worthing, Hove and Brighton.
This role will include the following;
- Ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of administration on a daily basis, from secretarial tasks to reception cover
- Booking appointments
- Processing incoming post and emails
- Investigating outstanding reports and results
- Audiotyping of clinical letters
- Medical Insurance billing
- Building relationships and communicating well with clinicians
- This is a Monday – Friday role, however you will be asked to work the occasional Saturday (est 1 every 2 – 3 months)
Skills and experience:
- Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Previous administration experience
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate sensitively with patients and colleagues will be vital in this role
- Our ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and show flexibility when required
- Good working knowledge of IT systems is essential, and experience in using an electronic patient record system to manage patients is desirable
- Previous medical administration and audio typing experience would be an advantage – although not essential, as full training will be given
