Role: IT Support Engineer (site-based)

This position is based in London, on a customer site, and you will work 7.5 Hours per day, between the hours of 08:00am - 18:30pm, on a rotational shift (08:00am - 16:30pm & 10:00am - 18:30pm)
Working as the IT on-site engineer, you will provide Technical Support in relation to IT hardware and software products to our customer. You will work closely with the wider SCC resolver groups and dedicated service desk, providing a seamless managed service to our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist incident management when required for major Incidents or system outages
- Provide technical support to other Managed services functions
- Complete software incidents to customer/manufacturer procedures and specifications
- Installation of hardware to manufacturers/customers specification; complete IMAC’s to manufacturers/customers specifications
- Utilise SCC incident management (ITSM) tool (Service Now) to check and update allocated calls in a timely manner
- Be available for occasional out of hours or weekend work that maybe required
- Must be able to embrace new technologies and adapt to change
- Assist AV troubleshooting and repair including Daily meeting room checks
Key skills & experience:
- Proven experience with laptop/Desktop setup and use
- Good general Hardware knowledge
- Mobile device knowledge both iPhone, Android and IPAD devices including Air watch and or Intune and HUB management tools
- Experience of networking, service desk and problem-solving, along with Active directory
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows\Office\Azure related products
- General understanding of ITIL terminology and practices
- Strong customer focus
