Job Description
We’re looking for an IT & Systems Director to help us solve the housing crisis in the East of England.
About us
We’re Flagship Group. We build, let, improve and maintain homes in the East of England.
How we work
Our vision and strategy are designed to help us have the biggest impact possible for our 76,000 tenants and the communities they call ‘home’.
We’re ambitious, and that’s reflected in our structure – we have seven subsidiaries in our Group which you’ll work across:
· Three social housing providers - Newtide Homes, Samphire Homes and Victory Homes
· One development company - Flagship Homes
· In-house repairs and maintenance experts - Flagship Services
· The region’s largest heating company - Gasway
· And Hopestead, our charity with a goal to end homelessness
Find out more about us here.
About you
You’re here to lead, develop and ensure delivery of IT and Systems services. You’ll understand and translate business priorities into projects and IT services, and provide excellent customer service, satisfaction and value for money.
Some of your best qualities include:
· Strong leadership skills
· Influence and the knack to create compelling arguments
· The ability to inspire others to get on board with your vision
· Being ready to use your initiative, get the ball rolling and be accountable
You’ll also be qualified in IT, Maths or Engineering, with some relevant professional studies under your belt; like Prince 2 or ITIL, alongside a clean driving license.
Let’s get down to business
We give our people the freedom to try new things, solve problems and do what’s right for our tenants. That’s why one of our core values is Great People Doing Great Things!
In return for doing those great things, we’ll give you:
· A salary between £105,000 - £120,000
· A car that’s kind to the environment
· Competitive relocation package (sorry we can only accept applications for those willing to relocate or within a 100-mile radius of our Norwich office)
· The freedom of an agile working environment
· Opportunity to make a real difference within the housing sector
And the rest:
· Flagship rewards scheme
· Private Medical Insurance
· Flexible Annual Leave
· Life assurance
As well as everything else you’d expect – pension scheme, company sick pay, access to an employee assistance programme, comprehensive and enhanced family leave policies (maternity, paternity, IVF and adoption leave) and more.
Everyone’s welcome
We treat everyone fairly, with dignity and respect – after all, our differences are a strength, not a weakness. We want you to be yourself at work, with the freedom to express who you are.
You’re welcome to apply for the role if you’re a tenant of ours, too.
