Summary: Reporting to the Director of Relationship Management, the Associate Director - Relationship Management will be an integral part of the team’s success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Management of client relationships and ongoing governance of funds dealing with internal operational and supporting teams, and being lead contact person with Fund/ACD Board, Investment Managers and across the different service providers, principally the Fund Administrator, Depositary, Auditors and Legal Advisors;
- Assume responsibility as primary contact at Waystone for existing client relationships and new clients primarily on ACD UK domiciled funds but also potentially covering a clients funds in other international jurisdictions and also across their different services across Waystone,
- Identification and management of the relationship to ensure client satisfaction and that they remain operationally efficient and financially profitable. Includes ongoing interaction with internal teams, ACD governance committees, and extended parties to manage ongoing deliverables, ad hoc matters and project related items;
- Ensure current knowledge of regulations and updates as and when they are circulated by reading and implementing processes to adhere to this changing regulation, specifically AIFMD, (UK) UCITS, FCA Handbook and MiFID;
- Attend, when available, training sessions on relevant topics and ensure all teams are onboard with the changing environment;
- Coordinate teamwork between the internal existing teams to promote prompt and thorough response to clients’ requests.
- Represent the ACD team on client, ACD Board and internal calls and discussions
EXPERIENCE:
- Motivated with enhanced interpersonal skills and adept at building client relationships;
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in an investment funds environment;
- Client facing background with outstanding presentation skills and problem solving attitude;
- Knowledge of UK UCITS, NURS, QIS and LTAF;
- Candidates must have excellent English language skills, excelling in both written and oral communication with clients
- Experience with Microsoft Office including excellent Excel skills is desirable

EDUCATION:
Strong academic background including a Degree in Finance/Business/Economics or related field;
