We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Consulting Leader to join our team within Honeywell HCE, The Business Consulting Regional Leader manages all efforts of our Senior Business Consultants in their day-to-day efforts. This manager assists in developing, educating, and monitoring all efforts associated with consulting for both pre-sales and post-sales activities.

Business Consulting Leader:


  • Assist Sales Management in developing direct sales and partner strategies to achieve company revenue and margin goals by identifying and implementing short- and long-term strategies based on market trends, company direction, competitive landscape and growth opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of complex sales proposals that involve interactions with customer representatives, ranging from executives, senior operations management, IT representatives, warehouse operations management, and end-users; for the purpose of defining the businesses’ Work Flow requirements including recommendations for optimizing overall business processes and driving to an agreed to ROI. Developing, training and enforcing best practices across the consulting organization is a critical responsibility.
  • Acts as a mentor for Senior Business Consultants, Regional Sales Managers, Territory Account Representatives, Channel Business Managers, etc, in the areas of Warehouse Operations, Sales Methods and Internal Business metrics, such as “Return on Investment”. Prepares and/or helps others prepare the “Return on Investment” analyses for each project’s pre-sales and post-sales implementation, as well as sales demonstrations with a focus on proactive promotion of business case solutions.
  • Focuses on direct and indirect major account opportunities and those accounts that are of strategic importance. Managing the allocation of the Senior Business Consultants’ time shall be made in accordance with this focus and in conjunction with the Sales Management.
  • Participate in the evolution of sales processes, i.e., sales models, quota, compensation, support and services.
  • Team with support/services organizations to deliver Professional Services on a timely basis and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Visit Customers/Partners as part of sales process and relationship building within the region.
  • Assist in recruitment of new partners and ongoing development programs for existing partners.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support new account penetration.
Provides internal Product Development group with customer feedback for the improvement of existing products and the development of future products.

  • Demonstrated results in large, sophisticated, matrix organizations.
  • Understands and is able to articulate a value proposition to customers.
  • Able to lead, and develop a team of experienced business consultants.
  • Understanding of Voice Technologies and Benefits of / Process Betterment
  • Successful sales experience with proven ability in delivering successful results.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, negotiate and close deals.
