Orka Financial is currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant for an established business based in Reading. The role is covering maternity leave and will be for a minimum period of twelve months.
After the initial training, you will be mostly working remotely with only occasional travel to the office for meetings. Working closely with the Finance Manager, your main duties will revolve around the month end process. This will include posting journals, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and analytical work. Ideally, you will be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA or CIMA.
You will need to have intermediate excel skills, including previous experience of using pivot tables and vlook ups.
Our client work a 37.5 hour week and on the occasions when you will be in the office, they have parking available. They are also accessible via public transport.
This role will be starting towards the end of February or early March, so applications will be considered from people who are available on up to four week's notice.
