Responsibilities:
As a Technical Support Engineer, you are responsible for:
Installation and commissioning of new Biobank and Compound Management Systems
Training and technical advice to our customers
Performing regular maintenance work
Repair services in the event of a fault
Independent planning, execution, and documentation of the work
Introduction of corrective and preventive measures
Qualifications:
A degree in technical engineering or an equal technical education
Preferably a background in the Life Science market
Professional experience in a similar position is an advantage
Accustomed to working independently
Customer-oriented and at the same time entrepreneurial thinking
You work reliably under time pressure, flexible and resilient
Fluent in written and spoken English
Interface with cross-functional work teams such as R&D, Customer Service, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Sales
The candidate shall preferably be based in the greater Oxford area to reach customers and an international airport in a short time. The position involves international travel up to 80%. The focus is the United Kingdom and Europe. Other regions may be assigned based on business needs. Assignments may be for subsequent weeks.
