Do you have experience as a Buyer in an FMCG environment? Are you a confident communicator who has the ability to lead a team?
I am working with an FMCG/retail business based in Nottingham who are looking for a Buyer to come in and join their Buying & Merchandising team.
In this role you’ll be responsible for range, promotion, price, supplier relationship management and Category Commercial Trading across all channels.
Some other responsibilities include;
- Be responsible for all competitor reviews, pricing strategy, promotions & range reviews and managing our supply base.
- Monitor stock levels across the estate to ensure that there is good cover to deliver sales, working closely with the Merchandiser to deliver targets set.
- Manage our Supplier relationships effectively & collaboratively, ensuring our values are lived and breathed.
- Ensure product mix KPI’s are met by working closely with all relevant key stakeholders.
- Manage, coach and develop a small team of Assistant Buyers and Product Admin.
To be successful in this role you’ll need proven retail procurement experience.
You will need excellent communication skills & the ability to lead a team, whilst also having a hands-on approach.
There is hybrid work available in this role with them offering 2 days in office per week. They are willing to pay up to 42k for this position.
