This is an exciting opportunity for a Reporting and Control Analyst to join our financial team, being a part or fully qualified accountant with experience working in a financial reporting control role who can work independently and collaboratively as part of the wider Financial Control team.
This is on a full-time permanent basis, hybrid working with weekly visits to our HQ based near Birmingham, and when you join us, you’re supported in developing your own career too, surrounded by a team of passionate people driven to keep customers moving.
Role & Responsibilities
· Support the Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager in preparation of timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting.
· Ownership of weekly and monthly reporting.
· Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations as directed by the Reporting and Control Accountant.
· Ownership of the fixed asset register for both owned and right of use assets, monthly accounting, and reconciliation of respective balance sheet accounts.
· Preparation of ONS returns as required.
· Support on the provision of audit and tax deliverables as part of the annual audit and tax compliance work.
· Sage user for report writing.
Skills & Experience
· Part or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
· Experience with Sage would be an advantage but not essential
· Task orientated, able to meet deadlines and prioritise work accordingly
· Experience with IFRS reporting
· Good communication skills
· Experience in balance sheet reconciliations
