Lancashire County Council (LCC) in partnership with Preston City Council, Inspire Substance Misuse Services in Central Lancashire & The Foxton Centre were successful in securing a bid to support the Rough Sleepers Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programme in Preston. The funding is from OHID (Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, formerly PHE). The role will project manage the work and act as a link between LCC, Preston City Council, Change Grow Live and other key partners such as LSCFT and the Foxton Centre. The post holder will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team at the Foxton Centres Homeless Services to deliver high quality provision by
The Job Requirements
1. Providing screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral;
2. Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community;
3. Providing advocacy for access to partnership services;
4. Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
5. Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination.
6. To ensure The Foxton Centres recordings and data collection meet all statutory requirements.
7. Develop and maintain strong links with the relevant local agencies to address issues affecting service users. Ability to advocate on behalf of clients to achieve positive outcomes.
8. Ensure that all activities are carried out within an equal opportunities’ framework, challenging prejudice and working in an anti-discriminatory manner.
9. Be conversant with and work to all The Foxton Centre policies and procedures, especially those relating to Health and Safety and Safeguarding
10. Attend your supervision and an annual appraisal as required.
11. Undertake training as time and resources allow as agreed with your manager CEO and or Operations Manager.
12. Undertake any other duties as reasonably required.
