INDEPENDENT VISITORS - BRADFORD
A Volunteer Befriending Scheme
Can you make a difference to a young person's life and become an independent visitor for looked after children?
An independent visitor is a volunteer who is matched with a young person living in Bradford and with foster care, residential homes or similar.
We need monthly visits for a minimum of two years.
- Have fun taking young people on outings and maybe share a hobby, sport or interest
- Offer support and a listening ear and be a positive influence in a young person’s life and help build self- esteem and confidence
You don’t need any special qualifications. All expenses over training and volunteering will be covered.
We are looking for reliable and dependable people from all walks of life. We will provide training and on-going support and expenses will be paid.
