Junior Equity L/S Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking to recruit a candidate to work as a junior research analyst in one of our Long/Short Equity teams.

Job Location: London

Qualifications/Skills Required

2-3 years of industry experience, whether from investment banking / private equity or from prior work as a buy or sell-side analyst
Financial modelling experience and expertise from financial accounting is required
Strong Excel skills
Strong Data / Quantitative skills
Outstanding academic qualifications at Bachelors' degree or above
Strong quantitative and qualitative skills as well as an ability to conduct critical reasoning

Role

Building and maintaining detailed company models
Conducting industry and company-specific research – performing diligence and channel checks on specific stocks and industries
Attending conferences and industry events, and reporting back with detailed information and data points
Initiating and developing primary industry contacts
Committing your daily efforts to the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and excellence
Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all of your recommendation materials
Supporting fundamental research into companies, industries, and sectors
