Home Care Support Worker
Care 4 U Services has 2 part-time(10-25hrs) vacancy for permanent home carers to include every other weekend or 1 shift every Saturday OR Sunday. This role will be based in or around:
Raunds, Ringstead, Denford, Thrapston and Woodford.
Requirements for Home Care Support Worker role:
- Previous experience is preferable but not essential as we have have a supportive training team and a blended approach to learning
- Transferrable DBS Certificate is preferable but not essential as a free DBS can be actioned
- Must be available to work on a 4 week permanent rota-hours to include 1 weekend day per week or every other weekend and some bank holidays.
- You MUST be able to demonstrate that you have the skills and experience to perform well in this role.
- To possess good manners and a flexible approach
- Ability to communicate on all levels
- This job will require travel between service user's properties and therefore owning your own transport is essential (Car, Motorbike, Moped, Cycle)
- Full UK driving licence required and vehicle business insurance where applicable
- Extra hours are available
Responsibilities of Home Care Support Worker role:
- Providing personal care - dressing, medication administration, food prep, light cleaning and shopping, sitting/social service within the clients own homes.
