Rate: £100.00 - £130.00 p/day
This behaviour support role will be based in a secondary school in Chatham, Medway. Working with KS4 students the successful candidate will manage a study room designed to provide the vest academic environment for students showing challenging behaviour in mainstream classes. In addition the candidate will provide ad-hoc cover across the school.
To be considered for this role you will need experience working with students of secondary school age. You could be a TA, LSA, Cover Supervisor, Youth Support Worker, SEND specialist or have experience in a pupil referral unit. Anyone with experience working with challenging secondary school students will be highly sought after.
I am working with a school in Medway to recruit a Behaviour Support worker for a role starting immediately or on short notice. The successful candidate will work between 8.00 and 3.30 daily and in addition to the normal management of behaviour will take part in occasional meetings with external agencies and parent / carers.
In order to succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
Ability to work with groups of students of secondary age
Strong behaviour management
Ability to follow policies including behaviour management and rewards
Flexibility in approach to classroom delivery and learning material
Willingness to embrace new technologies in the classroom
