On the track, Formula 1 is a team sport. And the business behind is the same. We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. You will commission, maintain and operate the Formula 1 IT Network Infrastructure and ensure that it continues to meet ongoing business objectives.
Reporting into the IT Network Manager, you will:

Rig, commission and then following the event de-rig the IT Network Infrastructure at Grand Prix events

Have a positive input on upgrade designs and planning

Be responsible for operational systems and intervene where and when required

Maintain correct and detailed documentation for the IT Network Infrastructure

Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for equipment purchase, maintenance and upgrades
-
Assist with budget preparation
-
Ensure the IT Network Infrastructure is compliant with GPDR regulation and SOX compliance
-
Be available to work on the IT Network Infrastructure outside of usual ‘Business Hours’, both planned and unplanned

You have:
-
Degree, HND/C in IT related Subject (or relevant experience)

Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing & Switching (CCNP)
-
Extensive IT networking experience
-
Network switching, routing and Wi-Fi in a Cisco environment (IOS and NX-OS)
-
Corporate firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto)
-
Ability to lead projects from concept to delivery

Ability to travel with the UK and Internationally
