JOB SUMMARY
Assist management in hiring, training, supervising, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, and motivating M Club associates.
Serves as a role model to the team and as a first point of contact between the M Club team and the Guest Experience Manager.
Ensure all associate is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met. Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify any deficiencies. Ensure that health and safety procedures are completed. Ensure all team members complete all their check-list tasks.
Complete scheduled inventories and stock take and requisition necessary supplies.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- 2 Years related work experience in Food and Beverage
- 1 year Supervisor/ Manager experience
- Good Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Leadership
- Pro-active and reliable
- Organization
- Creativity
- People Oriented.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Ensure that operations are running smoothly.
- Ensure associates focus on customer experience.
- Ensure associates follow health and safety procedures.
- Ensure there is always 1 associate in M Club assisting guests.
- Ensure all associates use the gets name if possible (Marriott Standard)
- Briefing with team in the morning to set-up goals
- Make sure that breakfast and other services are set-up on time.
- Being responsible with the stock take of M Club
- Being responsible with the requisition of food and beverage of the M Club
- Completing the Rota on time with the help or the manager
- Ensure all associates are trained on checklists.
- Assist team with complaints handling and resolving.
- Focus on how to improve customer service/ experience and how to develop M Club
- Reporting all important information to manager
