    Overview
    LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a passionate Software Project Manager with excellent Agile knowledge to manage projects and support product delivery for our Business Services software development team based in our Cardiff Bay office (remote start, moving to a hybrid working environment from October).
    This new role requires an experienced project manager with excellent communication and leadership skills who loves solving problems. You will manage key projects and workstreams within our growing portfolio.

    As an Agile Project Manager, you will be an essential member of our team, managing a diverse range of software projects and activities.     Main Responsibilities
    • Support 2-3 cross-functional agile product development teams as they efficiently deliver features and exciting capabilities (teams are usually between 4 – 8 members, depending on the deliverables)
    • Promote strong collaboration between teams, sharing best practice and helping clear potential blockers
    • Work closely with the Software Development Lead and Product Owner to ensure that the teams remain closely synchronised and upcoming features are well planned
    • Coordinate and partner with diverse internal stakeholder groups including securing early engagement to achieve effective support
    • Identify project risks & issues escalating where appropriate in a timely manner; ensure impacts are communicated so all parties are aligned; partner with project stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate project impacts
    • Make recommendations for improvements to existing processes and procedures
    • Manage key technical functions with great care and attention to ensure coding standards are met and quality is maintained
    • Ensure timely use of project and technology tools to help drive accountability. Ensure project resources and budgets are tracked and kept up to date. Develop and distribute timely status reporting with key metrics to appropriate stakeholders.
    Essential Skills and Attributes
    • Previous proven project leadership experience (5+ years)
    • Strong experience in Kanban or Scrum
    • SDLC knowledge and experience managing web-based application projects
    • You should be able to demonstrate the following behaviours and capabilities:

    Desirable Skills and Attributes
    • Experience working with matrixed/shared teams
    • Experience working with MS Office and Atlassian tools
    • Experience in a Scrum Master role
    • Certified Scrum Master
    • Project governance certification
    • Participation in the project management community
