The Opportunity
As a permanent member of the CAD Services Team, reporting to the CAD Manager, you will focus on the delivery of drawing configuration using Computer-Aided Design (CAD), to our client in the Defence sector. This role is based onsite in Reading where you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from large existing facilities to high-tech new builds, that involve cutting-edge science and technologies, as well as working closely with the Survey and Revit teams in creating drawings.
What you will do
- Produce schematics, models, general arrangement, and detailed drawings within the built
environment per client Standards and procedures. (Architectural,
Civil & Structural, MEP).
- Undertake updates and modifications of drawings per client standards
and procedures in support of the owner/operator.
- Liaise and operate effectively within the CAD team to ensure the co-delivery of our
projects on time and within budget.
- Complete site surveys, ensuring redline information is recorded accurately and
efficiently.
- Generate drawings accurately and efficiently from survey/redline information
- Process and check incoming drawings from contractors & suppliers.
- Maintaining and updating record drawings per client standards and
procedures

About You
- HNC/D in an engineering subject or equivalent
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Understanding of Navisworks and Revit
- Able to obtain security clearance
