Pay: £12.00 - £14.00 per hour plus holiday pay, pension, benefits

The Role
You'll be working with a young adult with complex health needs who requires 2:1 round-the-clock care in his own home. Our client has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and requires clinical interventions throughout the day and night to keep him safe at home. He lives with his parents and brother in an annex within the family home.
You will be required to work as part of a team, committing to regular shifts on a rota basis. Full and part-time hours are available across the week, including weekends on a rota basis. You will be required to work days or nights, not both; please indiciate your preference on application.
Requirements
What we'd like:
- Experience in working with people with complex health needs e.g. Epilepsy, PEG / artificial feeding, moving and handling
- Car driver with access to your own vehicle

Clinical Training
Whilst we expect a degree of experience in caring for individuals with complex health needs, full clinical training on the specific needs of our client will be provided for the right candidates. This includes a combination of e-learning and classroom-based training, followed by job-shadowing and "hands-on" training by a Lead Nurse.
