An exciting opportunity to join our team as Restaurant Assistant
Tasks & Responsibilities:

Ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded by being visible during service periods, approachable and quick in fulfilling customer needs.

Ensure all food and beverages are presented and served in line with specified standards (eg. conferences, receptions, table service, order taking)

Take part in the setup of all tables and required equipment, as well as the de-rigging and clearing of those

Take orders and process payment for those

Ensure Food Safety and Allergen guidelines are followed.

Work as a team and undertake duties in the restaurant area as requested to ensure an outstanding service is delivered at all times.

Promote an inclusive working environment for staff, colleagues, and customers

Work with your team to ensure that the unit meets statutory and company requirements of H&S, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures at all time by using the Food Alert Procedures

Report all near misses, accidents and incidents within the location to your supervisor or manager

Attend all training courses as required.

Report all broken equipment to the deputy or manager.

Complete the unit cleaning schedules for the location on each shift
-
Adhere to uniform, staff food and break policy.

Show commitment to company values in all aspects of your role.

Act as a positive ambassador for the business.

Respond to any reasonable request from any member of the management team
