We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our international freight forwarding company as a Transport Planner at our Head Office located in Normanton, West Yorkshire. LEMAN UK is part of the LEMAN Group and employs over 100 staff across 2 depots in the UK.

What we expect:

• Allocate import jobs and coordinate with drivers
• Plan export loads in line with departures.
• Communicate operational issues in a timely effective manner
• Assist with enquiries from colleagues, subcontractors and drivers in a timely effective manner
• Book trailers onto ferries
• Manage trailer allocations
• Ownership of internal invoicing allocated to assigned jobs
• Approving external invoices
• Liaise with UK and overseas colleagues regarding departures and load plans
• Internal administration of trailer hire
• Adhere to all legal requirements and company rules
• Work in accordance with the CSR policy and procedures as relevant to the job role

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
• GCSE in Maths & English
• Some experience from a similar environment preferred
• Good communication & customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure & cope during high volume peaks
• Good team player with ability to work on individual tasks
• Ambitious with a view to progress within the company·

• Is customer-focused and ensures the right outcome for the customer
