Flourish Education are recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary school near Bordesley Green. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN. The children mainly have severe Autism but there are children with other complex needs too.
Our client wants to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant who can support children with SEN to meet their individual needs, monitor their progress and prepare resources. They want someone who is committed. You will be supporting in a Reception class in the morning and in the Inclusion Hub in the afternoon, however this is subject to change so candidates must be flexible across Early Years and KS1.
This Teaching Assistant role will start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full time.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:

Minimum Level 2 Qualification

Experience supporting children with SEN

Motivating and encouraging the pupils

Provide a safe and engaging learning environment

Support with learning and development

Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers

Monitor progress of the children
