An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinically focused, highly motivated Senior Pharmacist to join our team remotely.
The Role
As Senior Clinical Pharmacist you will confidently act within professional boundaries, supporting and working alongside a team of pharmacists. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a patient-facing role, working with colleagues to help resolve medication-related issues, helping to utilise skill mix, improve patient outcomes and ensure better access to healthcare.
You will support practice staff with prescription and medication queries. Help support the repeat prescription system, deal with acute prescription requests, and medicines reconciliation, providing expertise in clinical medicines advice while addressing both public and social care needs of patients.
You will support with prescribing practices across the PCN, providing clinical leadership on medicines optimisation and quality improvement. As Senior Clinical pharmacist you will provide clinical supervision and mentorship for other pharmacists/ technicians.
The role is pivotal to improving quality of care and operational efficiencies so requires motivation and passion to deliver excellent service within general practice.
The Skills
To be successful in this role you will be a supportive and motivated individual who enjoys working as a team leader.
You will have your independent prescriber qualification and be on the CCPE pathway.
Previous general practice experience is essential, and the use of clinical systems such as Emis or SystemOne is aa requirement.
