Care Assistant Vacancy
We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to support our residents who are living with dementia in our family run purpose-built home.
You will be working in a supportive and caring environment. This opportunity provides a unique chance to build a really good rapport and make a difference to individuals who require continuous supervision and support.
The role itself will include 1:1 support, assisting with personal care and daily tasks, observation and engagement, facilitation of community access and social interaction, suitable activities, meaningful engagement and monitoring of the individual’s mental wellbeing and behaviour.
The role can be physically demanding so mobility and the ability to undertake moving and handling tasks, including using equipment and moving residents, is essential.
In addition, you will be required to take/obtain all necessary precautions and appropriate preventative treatment, including any vaccinations which the Company believes are necessary, to provide maximum protection to you, your colleagues and our residents from the conditions which are infectious/contagious.
Experience in care would be an advantage however training can be given.
**Night shifts are available, shift times are 8pm-8am.
**Day shifts are available, shift times are: 8am - 2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8am-8pm**
*Applicants are required to work alternate weekends.
Applicants must be over the age of 18.
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure (DBS) , disclosure costs are met by the employer. The employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010.

Days - £9.62 per hour
Nights - £11.38 per hour
