Director of Operations
REPORTS TO: CEO
Role (Overview of the Position)
As the Director of Operations, you are responsible for developing a high performance company culture, growing a motivated team of superstars and scaling up revenue.
You are also responsible for the operational vision of our organisation including the implementation of our communications cadence and operational systems.
Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role)
- Client-centric mission - lead the team to reinforce the company mission, so that we make certain that we are moving towards our long-term outcomes.
- Company values - work with the team to reinforce the company values so that they are used in decision-making in all departments.
- Recruiting and retention - recruit A Player team members and develop world class company culture that continues to attract talent.
- Company Cadence - scheduling and holding strategic meetings with our team and with departments as needed throughout the year.
- People leadership - build our communication cadence for departments and use transformational leadership to scale our team and organisation
- Develop departmental KPI’s and metrics so every team member knows what their outcomes are in their role, what they’re accountable for and what their scoreboard is (outcome, accountability, and transparency).
- Ensuring accountability across the whole team. Someone who has great follow through and is a great finisher.
- Team Events - create the systems and processes for our company events so that they are executed at the highest level; manage event planning and relationships with event partners and vendors.
- Manage the relationship with our outsourced accounting company to ensure that we continue to have up-to-date and accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting every month.
- Manage the communication and projects with our legal partners to ensure we are protected from any legal liabilities.
- Drive and manage the tactical delivery of ongoing projects and deliverables for company initiatives and report back to the CEO and team.
- Support the CEO’s in executing their vision and growing the business together.
- Overseeing the creation and implementation for HR processes.
- Project handoffs; once created, facilitating the implementation and management of said projects.
- Simplify and increase efficiency of business by adding/removing unnecessary systems and processes.

- We use the minimum effective dose systems and platforms in order to get the greatest results.
- The foundation of our company, accounting, finance, taxes, and legal are up-to-date and accurate.
Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)
- Must have a proven track record of successfully operating fast growth entrepreneurial companies.
- Must be coachable and have humility.
- Can be a doer, a manager and a leader.
- Must be moldable and adaptable to meet the requirements of the business at every stage of growth.
- High-level communication skills
- Emotionally self-regulates even during times of pressure and stress to be present for the team.
- Able to consistently understand the intent and vision of the CEOs, work as a sounding board for the CEOs. They decipher, filter, sort and provide most important info to Co-CEO’s.
- You will work to decrease the noise for the CEO’s and be their barrier
- Ability to set goals and develop achievable timelines to hit them.
- Highly developed self-awareness and leadership skills
- Ability to assess company based on data
COMMUNICATION CYCLE
DAILY
- Communications on priority items via Zoom and Telegram with CEO
- Team huddles
WEEKLY
- Weekly & Monthly Strategic Team Meetings
- Weekly Executive Meeting
- 1:1s between CEO and certain Direct Reports
