We are recruiting for Health Care Assistants to join our Trust across our Forensics Divisions at Arnold Lodge. We are looking for candidates that want to make a difference and have the values and attributes that align to our Trust. Previous healthcare experience is not required for Band 2 posts.

The East Midlands Forensic Mental Health Service, Arnold Lodge, based in Central Leicester is a 102 bedded Medium Secure Hospital providing in-patient Forensic Psychiatric Services for adults with Mental Disorder and a history of offending behaviour aged 18 and above. We provide the highest standards of evidence-based therapeutic care, which includes vocational and recreational opportunities.

We are looking for healthcare workers who are resilient, passionate about nursing and patient centred. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and understand the need for developing positive therapeutic relationships with our patient group. Applicants need to be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a dynamic team under the supervision of qualified nurses.

You must be over 18 and ideally have experience of working with adults, although this does not need to be in a caring environment. You must have a qualification in English and Maths (GCSE, NVQ). You will be required to work on a rotational 24hour shift pattern which includes days, nights and long days.
