Bath and Northeast Somerset Council have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced, dedicated and values driven individual to join our Adult Care Directorate as a Head of Service for Safeguarding Quality and practice. This is a Senior Management position that will challenge the post-holder to drive and direct the high standard of delivery of statutory services across BATHNES that help support some of our most in need residents.

Working in partnership as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team you will take personal responsibility for contributing to organisational transformation and changes in ways of working, maximising the benefits and efficiencies for both internal and external customers.
About You
We are looking for someone with expert knowledge and experience of leading and managing safeguarding services and projects to deliver positive and impactful change in a complex, high-pressure, high-speed environment. The ability to develop constructive relationships with partners and stakeholders within the Council, NHS, the wider public, voluntary and private sector is essential.
