Castles Education provides a specialist educational for students aged 9 to 16 with social emotional and mental health issues.

We are an independent school but all our places are funded by Local Authorities. All of our pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans.
We are looking for an Maths teacher and Nurture Teacher to be able to teach at all ages and abilities.
Qualified Teacher Pay Scale.
Our classes sizes are small (6 or less) and you will be assisted by at least one Teaching Assistant. Some teaching may be based outside of the classroom, depending on the needs of the students.
Experience of working in an SEMH or Special school would be an advantage, but is not essential. However, you will need good knowledge of how to teach pupils with varying special needs, effective behaviour management and an understanding of the challenges of SEMH teaching.
Nurture, trauma-informed practice and restorative practice are key aspects of our school culture.
