Job Description
We are a service provider which hires and manages drivers for delivery companies, we are currently recruiting for a permanent position at one of our branches in DPD Local in Croydon.
Duties of a delivery driver:
- Being punctual every morning
- Numbering and organizing parcels appropriately in your vehicle
- Dependable with on-time deliveries
- Making sure to attend deliveries on time
Schedule
Work will take place from Monday to Friday, with the optional Saturday. The driver will be required to be at the depot at 6/6:30 am, work will finish depending on the ability of the driver and the ammount of work there is.
How does the salary work?
- £100 a day (125 stops)
- £1 per stop (anything exceeding 125 stops)
On average a delivery driver will do between 100-150+ deliveries per day, depnding on their ability.
Requirements
- Clean CRB
- Permit to work in the UK
- Previous delivery experince
- Keep the van clean
Do you need your own vehicle?
You do not need your own vehicle, as we will provide the van, insurance, liability, carriage of goods in transit and diesel.
