We are looking for aspiring engineers to join our Engineering Apprentice Programme at our Bodmin site!
Ideally you would join us on site from the end of July, where you would gain a good understanding of the role and our work at Pilgrims, before being enrolled on the course in September.
If you are looking to earn a competitive salary whilst working towards becoming a qualified engineer, then this might just be the perfect opportunity for you! By completing this programme, you will become a qualified engineer who is able to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment at our site. In turn you will be supporting your colleagues in production to process our products effectively and efficiently.
You will complete an Engineering Apprenticeship with a local Training Provider, this will involve regular attendance at the college. When not at college, our experienced on-site team will look after your development and make sure that you are learning new skills.
At the end of the programme, you will have achieved the following qualifications as a minimum:

A Competence Element Such as NVQ Level 3

A Knowledge Element Underpinning knowledge / theory-based qualifications at level 3

Functional Skills in English, Mathematics and ICT at the required level

Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

Understanding the Employees Rights and Responsibilities through assignment-based activities

Ideally you will have the following skills, knowledge or experience:
