A market leader in their industry, this well-established company manufacture and supply infrastructure-critical wire ropes. Playing their largest role in making sure elevators & cranes do vital work, they sell into multiple industries such as Oil/Gas/Marine.
With around 100 employees presently, they are currently under-going a ramp period of expansion, with a huge desire to add talented graduates into varying roles across the team. Part of a wider business group that turns over £37 million nationally, there is huge scope here for the successful graduate to be trained & developed into a hugely successful member of the team.
The Opportunity
Joining as a Graduate Assistant Accountant, you will receive huge amounts of training to develop your knowledge of the commercial world this business operate in, whilst gaining your full-funded CIMA qualification in business-accounting alongside.
So, what could your daily duties consist of?

Supporting the preparation of month-end/year-end management accounts

Balance sheet reconciliation
-
Data entry
-
Supporting local auditors
-
Corporation tax analysis
-
Preparation of VAT return
-
P&L and balance sheet variance analysis

Fixed asset accounting
-
Supplier rebate/Customer rebate accounting
-
Authorisation of payments to third parties
As you can see, there is lots you can do and learn! This will all come with the full training & support of your senior management team though, as you report to the Group Financial Controller.
