The Role: Edmundson Electrical are looking to recruit, train and develop a determined graduate to be working directly under the Regional Director for the North East. The view is for you to grow and develop into a hand on support for all the profit centres in the region; driving business growth and ensuring Teams are maximising systems and procedures.
As a Graduate Regional Support Executive at Edmundson's, you will be educated on the Company, its products, the market and will benefit from continuous 'on the job' training. The graduate will also have to opportunity to receive professional training to equip the graduate with all of the tools and skills needed to flourish in a successful career.
As a Graduate Regional Support Executive, the package you will receive is:

£25000 Base salary (Rising to £27k after 6 month probation)

What you will do: First 6 months
-
Learn a lot!
-
Based in a profit center- you will start your training learning about the products, operating procedures, understanding the market, customers and suppliers. Getting to grips with how these businesses operate, you will pull your sleeves up and get stuck in!

After your first few months, you will begin an accelerated training program focusing on the internal systems; how they are used and how they can be improved spending most of your time in the Regional Office.

Towards the 6-month mark you will start to shadow and work closely with the existing regional support team and start getting to know the region.
Next 6-12 months and Onwards

Start visiting Profit Centres and work closely to the managers and teams there to help ensure they are fully utilising the systems and ensuring they are fit for purpose.

Create roadmaps of issues you've identified and how they can be improved; gathering feedback and digging into an issue to get an understanding of the overall impact across the region.

Engage with manufacturer visits, purchasing of stock and negotiations

Create monthly reports for the Regional Director on targets/ rebates to ensure the region is as profitable as possible; then help in relaying this to managers across the region.
Further develop a relationship with senior colleagues to gain an understanding of the potential next step in your career
