Job Description
The data office Insight & MI team are looking for an experienced analyst to join our Nottingham based team. The role is responsible for carrying out detailed analysis on all of Experian’s data assets to provide meaningful insight and performance tracking MI for internal stakeholders and for external use. The successful candidate will bring a blend of analytical skills and data visualisation experience to best enable the showcasing of Experian data.
Responsibilities:

You will work within a team focused on producing both insight and MI across both commercial and consumer bureau data
-
You will be responsible for producing analysis and visualizing this in the most appropriate way for the relevant audience
-
Works independently to develop and deliver solutions, insight, capability and products using best practice analytical techniques and following established quality procedures to help guarantee the robustness of the solution.

Use data transformation and manipulation software to extract and prepare datasets using common tooling e.g. SQL, SAS, SSIS
-
You will use visualization software to present meaning results to our target audiences
-
Support client personnel and/or other departments/divisions within the business line to interpret data and resolve queries.

Lead the resolution of data or analytical problems which may impact on results, seeking advice when necessary

Questions results through applied intelligence, seeking advice where necessary
-
Ensures the quality of all data sent to clients/customers

To plan and manage own time being able to prioritise multiple requests quickly and effectively
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual with a strong analytical and inquisitive mindset, with experience of interrogating large and complex data sets. The individual will be proficient in transforming, improving and integrating data and delivering the data in an insightful and easy to understand way to users.
Key Skills for the role:

Experience of SQL, SAS or other relevant coding languages

An inquisitive mindset who finds chasing down hypothesis exciting

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
-
Affinity and skill in translating analytical outputs into compelling and creative visual stories
-
Ability to communicate across all levels of stakeholders within an organization
Desirable but not essential

Familiar with dashboarding software such as PowerBi, Tableau or Microstrategy
