Job Description
· To assist Senior Mechanics in the stripping, inspection and rebuilding of various mechanical equipment and associated components.
· Adapting to a variety of tasks which could include stripping, cleaning, and preparation of equipment.
· Maintain all associated paperwork and systems as required.
· To assist in completion of work scopes and any additional paperwork in a timely manner.
· Ensure that all tooling and machinery are used and maintained in the appropriate manner.
· Reporting of any faulty equipment in the correct manner.
· Communicate regularly with Senior Mechanics and Workshop Manager as and when required.
· Perform housekeeping duties daily and maintain cleanliness of Workshop, yard, or work site.
· To ensure all consignments are delivered/collected in a safe and timely manner.
· Assist the Warehouse Coordinator as and when required.
· Adhering to time schedules, abiding by the Road Traffic Act 1988, other transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
· Assisting in the loading/unloading of materials.
· Assist in maintaining identification and traceability of materials including customer owned equipment.
· Completion of paperwork, such as delivery tickets and good in checklists as and when required.
· Report all vehicle defects as promptly and concisely as possible in order to minimise downtime.
· Report all incidents, offences, and accidents relating to RTA immediately to direct line manager, whether business or personal.
· Always comply with Company & HS&E policies and procedures, contributing as required in Toolbox Talks etc.
· Report all accidents and associated incidents.
· Suggesting improvements and simplified methods of working, procedures, and systems through continuous improvement activities.
Travel out-with regular place of work, both locally and internationally, as required.
