The University of Bath is one of the leading UK universities with strong ambitions for the future. Our people are at the heart of our current success, and developing a culture of care, to enable everyone to flourish, is key to our future plans.

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual in the Culture & Inclusion team to coordinate delivery of an efficient and effective service and change programme.

You will join a busy team to:

  • support event organisation,
  • be first point of contact for the central email inboxes,
  • maintain our webpages and content,
  • develop publicity material and literature,
  • process financial transactions,
  • provide general administration support, such as minute taking and setting up meetings.

With a proven track record in administration, preferably gained within a fast-paced office and/or HR environment, you will be adept at multi-tasking and unfazed by the demands of multiple requirements. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, together with a positive, professional manner and the ability to deal considerately, and confidently with people at all levels.

Given the nature of this role, an interest in culture and inclusion would be advantageous, and being comfortable with dealing with sensitive topics/issues.

We truly believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and backgrounds will lead to a better environment for our employees and students, so we encourage applications from all genders, backgrounds, and communities, particularly from under-represented groups such as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic and disabled people, and value the positive impact that will have on our teams.
