We are looking to appoint an additional Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking business team. Duties will include a wide range of reception and administrative tasks where no two days are the same.
The successful candidate will be the first smiling face that the children, parents, teaching staff and visitors will see and:-
A good understanding of business administration and some practical experience of administrative processes.
Ability to communicate effectively to a range of audiences, through good written and oral communication skills keyboard skills
Ability to work on own initiative in the absence of supervisor
Ability to concentrate on detailed work for short/medium periods of time
Understanding of key safeguarding issues and procedures
- Have the ability to communicate in a warm, welcoming and professional manner with children, parents and visitors both in person and on the telephone
- Have excellent administrative and IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Have the ability dealing with confilcting priorities and be flexible to work under pressure
- Have the ability to work with interruptions whilst maintaining a good sense of humour and positive attitude as part of a team
- Have a First Aid qualification or willingness to be trained
- Have knowledge of SIMS and Tucasi or willingness to be trained
- Recognise the need for confidentiality at all times
