About The Role
Victory Care Home has 51 beds, a CQC rating of “Good” and is set tucked away on the edge of town, backing onto leafy green areas with lots of local amenities on our doorstep, including the High Street and Library within walking distance.
As a Kitchen Assistant you will assist with the preparation of delicious and nutritious meals, drinks and snacks for residents within the guidelines given by the Registered Care Home Manager and the Cook. You will be working to a high standard of cooking and cleaning regimes for all areas of the kitchen in line with Health and Safety and Company guidelines to ensure safe working practice within the Home.
About You
You don't have to have worked in care before, a previous role in a different catering environment is great for someone willing to learn. We'd like you to have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. You will be a caring, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to show empathy to the needs of others.
