I am currently partnered with an established and high-growth Cloud Service Provider who are looking to hire 2 talented Junior Datacentre Engineers to join their team in Coventry.
This is an incredible opportunity to hone your craft in a supportive environment, where no two days are the same.

As a Junior Datacentre Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Managing Linux environments
• Implementing cloud solutions to customers
• Configuration of Juniper and Cisco Switches
• Dealing with backups using Veeam, R1 Soft, etc.

Skills and experience required for a Junior Datacentre Engineer:

• Great knowledge of Windows OS basic experience with Linux
• Working on shifts
• Customer service exposure
• Good experience with computer hardware
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
• Very good English skills
• Exposure to LAMP stack
• Experience using Linux at least at command line level
• Knowledge of DNS Systems
• Experience with hosting control panels (cPanel/Plesk)
• Experience with VMWare,Xen or OnAPP
