Crew Trainer Role

Act as a role model to all Crew Members by giving customers an outstanding, individual and memorable experience, placing them at the core of all we do.

Be an operations expert, effectively training Crew Members and Apprentices using the Company training and Apprenticeship programme.

Lead areas, providing coaching and direction to all crew, identifying barriers to service and production, and proactively take remedial action when necessary.

Work as an integral part of the restaurant team supporting management, actively driving restaurant goals and targets, and ensuring that everyone’s actions contribute towards achieving them.

Consistently deliver and maintain the highest McDonald’s standards of quality, service and cleanliness Follow all workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures.

Follow the uniform guidelines and take pride in your personal appearance.

Keep the McDonald’s Values alive in the restaurant and at the heart of everything you do
Training and Coaching

Use the 4-Step method when training Crew on a new task or station.
-
Explain to Crew the ‘how to’ and ‘why’ behind McDonald’s policies and procedures.

You will provide relevant training to Crew Members to ensure continuous development, supporting their confidence and knowledge to deliver exceptional Q,S&C.

Provides appreciative feedback for good performance and developmental feedback when required.

Ensures Crew remain focused on tasks and gives regular feedback on their performance.

Recommends training needs to the restaurant’s Training Coordinator or Training Manager.

Is available and approachable, and readily offers Crew help and advice.

Brings the Values to life on every shift.

Attends, and actively contributes to CrewTrainer meetings.

Completes the required amount of training per shift.

Actively supports the Apprenticeship Programme by completing scheduled training as required and to the required standard.

Treat all customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect.

Work as a supportive team member.
