- You have achieved a Maths and English GCSE grade 5 or above, or passed an equivalent qualification.

- You are looking for a part-time role, able to work “after school hours” or on a Saturday on a rota.
The role

As a Tutor, your key objectives are to:
- Teach - bring our Mission to life by tailoring your teaching approach and support our members to achieve consistent progress.
- Inspire– build strong relationships and inspire all children to become fearless learners.
- Demonstrate Progress– support children to recognise progress towards their goals, and develop their reflective skills to be able to identify and share their own progress.

If you are open to learning new things and able to have meaningful interactions with our members then we can give you all the knowledge and skills required to be an excellent tutor.
Your development is our top priority from the first day you start at Explore Learning. You’ll learn the National Curriculum Teaching Standards, communication techniques, positive behaviour support and leadership skills amongst many other skills.
Your confidence in teaching will soar and you'll learn loads from watching your peers in action.
What you’ll get in return
Our tutors usually work 2-3 consistent shifts per week; you can request as many hours as you'd like as long as it's more than your minimum of 6 contracted weekly hours.
You’ll start earning Your starting hourly pay will be:
Under 18 – £6.25
18-20 – £7.25
21-22 – £9.35
23+ – £9.65
Add an additional 50p per hour if you will be working at a centre inside the M25. On top of your tutoring shifts, you will be paid for all of your training and induction sessions.
Your start date: When applying, you’ll be offered an immediate start date. If the centre you are applying for does not have an immediate start available, your application will still be processed and considered for a future start date. To be successful, you must be at least 16 years old, and currently living in the UK. Please note, you will only be able to work online if you are aged 17 or over.
