Business Development Manager - Telecoms
Job Title – Field Sales Exec
Salary - £30-35k base + Commission + Car allowance
Type – Permanent
Location – Home based covering clients in Birmingham region.

Overview
We are working with a leading Telecoms company who are looking for an experienced business development manager ideally with a background in business-to-business telecommunications. The role is to up sell and cross sell to existing clients as well as win new business opportunities. The role is home based with no requirement to be in the office. However, you will be expected to meet clients regularly on a face to face basis throughout the Birmingham region so will need to be within a commutable area of this.
Role
To generate direct sales revenue through new and existing customers utilising the clients full portfolio of unified communications and IT products.
Essential Job Functions
- Promote the company’s products and services, selling the benefits to prospective & existing customers and closing deals
- Maximise lead conversion rates from Marketing Lead Generation by following up leads to an agreed SLA and communicating the correct sales value propositions for each sector
- Achieve Activity & Lead Conversion KPIs
- Ensure that all activity is logged and documented in SalesForce
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Other duties from time to time as directed by sales management
Qualifications
Excellent telephone manner
Passion for sales
Interest in Cloud Communications
A deep interest in new technology
Sales experience
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM (desired)
Good level of education including Maths and English
GCSE level qualification in ICT or equivalent ease with ICT
