Job Description

This role supports our Sky Listens programme in our response to allegations raised through our Internal Investigations process. You will work closely with our Legal, HR and Compliance colleagues, ensuring our processes and procedures remain high quality. It will include such things as researching and updating others on industry best practice relating to Whistleblowing, as well as working with Legal and Compliance on changes in Whistleblowing legislation and guidance and applying them to the group’s documentation and communication strategy. You will work with relevant business units to ensure that all shared processes are agreed and signed off in a timely manner, whilst identifying improvements to processes and coordinating their adoption across Sky
territories and teams.
What you’ll do:
  • Liaise with Group Director Investigations, Group Compliance, Employee Relations and HR Legal to identify and schedule programmes of improvement relating to the Sky Listens Programme across all Sky territories.
  • Coordinate Group MI reporting and provide regular statistics and trend observations to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR and Group Compliance to integrate reporting points and trends into other forms of reporting,
    such as our Compliance Committee and Exec Dashboard
  • Monitor changes to Whistleblowing and work with Legal to implement advice across territories on operational changes/improvements to existing processes and policies.
  • Support Compliance through the maintenance of a remediation tracker for business recommendations made through investigative reports.
  • Provide statistical feedback concerning escalated reporting in relation to investigation guidance and process.
  • Collaborate with local Investigations and Compliance teams to deliver group wide training on best practice in Whistleblowing.
  • Work with local investigation managers to assist in identifying training needs across the group to meet investigative requirements that are consistent across group, and specific to territories where needed.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver action items relevant to the operation of the programme identified internally through employee surveys or feedback, such as communications campaigns and other awareness raising initiatives.

  • Confident, assertive, and professional in dealing with the business, industry and stakeholders whilst working with sensitive information.
  • Ability to be flexible in working practices and be willing to travel as required.
  • Good knowledge of standard office IT packages
  • Established and practical experience of working in a corporate investigations or whistleblowing programme, including application of relevant best practice and legal requirements in whistleblowing programmes.
  • Good knowledge of project administration and delivery and scheduling of programme works.
